When it comes to upholstery cleaning one should be very careful in choosing who they should employ. 

 

Carpet cleaners prefer cleaning carpets rather than upholstery. Upholstery cleaning can be quite tricky and tiresome, it is not as easy or as simple as carpet cleaning. An experienced carpet cleaner is not automatically an experienced upholstery cleaner. You have to be a carpet cleaner to appreciate this.

 

Furniture is normally not a flat and easy surface as carpeting. The technician has to cope with all sorts of shapes and contours. Mostly these are the very areas like the arm rest, the kick board/skirting and the head rests that get really dirty and  need a very good clean with least amount of wetting !!

 

Also due to  the fact that soft furniture can have fillings of foam, feather, or even horse hair, great care has to be taken to minimize the wetting while maintaining the efficiency.

 

The above reasons make it necessary for the technician to be experienced in upholstery cleaning.
